These are obviously Drew and I on a ledge on Mendon Peak
This Just so happens to be the peaks all along the ledges :) it's the whole mountainside on the west side of cache valley and to the east side of tremonton/brigham city
This was a gorgeous little pathway I came across at the very beginning of the mendon peak trail :) before i stopped breathing from exaustion ha ha ha
well work has been slim lately so we have been trying to stay close to home which is always hard especially with family all over the place. I haven't been able to get down to salt lake to spend time with my parents in far too long and I am so looking forward to this weekend! I not only get to spend time with my mom but i get to go and spend one happy day with two amazing brides! the soon to be Mrs. Bonnie Herrmann and Mrs. Dani Johnson! The beautiful girls are friends themselves and are due to be married in the same temple on the same day! it's incredible!
Last weekend was a bunch of fun for me as well! Mindy (drew's adorable mother and every day she becomes more of my best friend) has a 24th camp out at her beautiful house! I hated that drew had to work but I had just gotten my new camera (the old one broke so best buy gave me credit for a new one) so i went picture crazy trying out all the settings. i won't put a ton up here i'll just show you a few :) although there are many more to come!
everyone was there from (and this is all on drew's mom's side) grandma and grandpa, uncle aaron, aunt tanya and their son Ethan, Uncle Wade, Aunt Amy and their kids (i'm going to butcher the spelling) zareck, Maxwell, zoey, and pheobe, Uncle Mark, aunt shelly, and their daughter chelsea, occasionally an appearance from aunt carrie, uncle dean and their kids abby and traeson, and then of course there were our family with Angie, kyle and their beautiful baby Aspen, preston breAnne and me... drew worked so he was only there for a bit.
that's everyone that was there not everyone in the family ha ha just to clarify so everyone doesn't think i'm crazy.
This is the cute father daughter duo whom i love so much. i really love that i'm part of the family! Kyle is a great guy and angie is fun too! i love having someone to talk to when the boys go off and do their silly things!
This is Aspen man she's growing up fast! I have a smile setting on my camera where you input someones face and then when they smile it will automatically take the picture! it worked out really well with her! she's flipping adorable!
Well later that night they had the mendon fireworks which were beautiful and there is even a fireworks setting on my camera that worked like a charm! It was amazing!
Speaking of charms Amy brought out string and beads so i took an old bracelet that had been her daughters and remade it a little bigger with different clasps, one day (if we have a daughter) she'll be able to wear it! it's actually made of real pearls that amy got from needhams for her birthday! I also made a cute little bookmark because drew and i have been doing so much reading lately! I have been able to convince him to read the harry potter series so far I just finished the 5th book and he has just started it! Well drew is off backpacking this weekend so i'm sure when he gets back either me or him will write a bit about it! and we'll have more pictures for you too.
i'm sorry blogging has been so slow lately (i wonder who actually reads this to notice) but drew's computer has been shutting down when it over heats so we had to take it in to get fixed... and my computer rarely works. the bright side of all this process has been though that we actually bought an external hard drive to back up everything and it'll be amazing to store everything in one place! no more pictures taking up the whole computer because i have 350 gigs of extra space!
