12 weeks

I'm writing this a day early.. i'm too anxious and i don't want to wait for a whole day just to write how excited i am today. It's crazy that i'm so excited about something that is damaging my health... but i love that little critter just the same :). I've been pretty off and on again this week... somedays it's just for a little while, some days i'm fine all day, others i feel like crud from the second i wake up from the second i go back to sleep.  Besides that I will announce that none of my pants can have the button done up anymore so i've been using belts. A lot of people swear by the rubber band trick but.. no rubber bands at my home so i'm going to use cute belts to hide the fact that my pants are undone ha ha ha. I usually wake up pretty small but it's kind of like the food never really digests until i sleep (besides the fact that i'm always hungry) because by the end of the day you can absolutely tell that i'm pregnant.

Drew and I have been so busy this week we haven't really had time to do much of anything... besides start watching american idol.. I have never in my life watched more than one or two episodes of american idol a season. So far i've seen 3 and i think the new one comes out soon. He's been super sweet though of course like on sunday when i was too sick to go to church he came home for a class to check on me and to see if i was doing any better. such a darn sweetheart.

I'm up to a minimum of 105 now with some days i am up to 108 on a regular basis which is just about where i should be so that's good!

Baby time :) we are up to the crazy size of a lime now which just astounds me. I think i may go buy one because 1 i love to eat limes and 2 i want to hold my baby... or at least something roughly the size of my baby.

So this week the reflexes start kicking in. fingers open and close, toes curl, the eyes will wince and sucking movements will start with the tiny little mouth. I guess baby officially responds to if we poke my tummy he/she should kick back in response but i sill won't feel it :(  I guess the eyes are officially where they are supposed to be on the front of the face and the ears are where they're going to be now too ( i didn't know the ears were in a weird spot before)

That's all the real updates i could find for this week but man i'm smiling thinking about how if i were able to put my finger in the palm then those tiny fingers would close around mine :)

We're so darn excited and growing more and more every day. I think I may start just writing whole entries on just thoughts... or do you guys just like reading about the little tyke and how they're growing?
