32 weeks

Oh I'm in so much trouble! oh geeze :) I didn't forget last week... but i was out of town for tuesday and wed and really just never got around to writing one for last week. this week drew didn't work on tuesday (and it takes a good half hour to write one of these so he doesn't like me to do it while he's around) and then yesterday i was busy cleaning like mad because it is drew's birthday today so I wanted to make everything perfect for him!

this is going to be long... just to warn you

but look, now there's so much more to catch up on! 

first Last week My dad took both drew and I to wendover for a little mini vacation which was so much fun! i got some awesome sun in and got a nice tan :) Plus It was a really nice break from reality and good to spend some quality time with the hubs and the family! I don't know if i've said but i stopped working at the call center i worked at and i'm now working lots and lots at Jitters which is the coffee shop i used to just work saturdays at and now i'm working lots and i love it! it's also been super great because I'm happy at work, and i'm up and moving around instead of sitting so it's keeping me active which honestly is sooo good for me right now! My grandma bought me dreft ( the special baby laundry detergent) so I have all my newborn clothes washed and folded and sorted ready for him to come out and wear them!!

The last two weeks have been a little hard because our air conditioning went out and I swear it was just one thing after another and as i write this we just got the last thing fixed and i can actually feel cold air blowing through the vents. 

basically, 3 weeks ago we finally turned on our air conditioning (remember it got pretty hot before that crazy rainy week) well as i was getting things ready in porter's room i started smelling this crazy smell freaked out and got my neighbor keri to tell me it wasn't a gas leak. (It wasn't) we then realized that the pump in the back was on and it would make sounds like it was getting ready to go on and nothing would blow... lame. 

Our property manager came out and figured out that the circut board had burnt up so he had to find a matching one which took him 3 or 4 days. guess what, about 7 minues after he'd fixed it, it stopped blowing again and no one knew why. 

so since it was cold we just told our property manager about it and he said he'd get someone out to fix it, and we told him no need to rush because it was still pretty cool so it wasn't causing any harm. 

Last week at the beginning of the week he made an appointment with a guy in his neighborhood that he's friends with that had aproached him a few days earlier saying he did stuff like this. Our appointment was on thursday, and when the day came and went we weren't happy, but he called, aplologized and said friday he'd do it for sure. Friday came and went and he said no no for sure he'd do it on saturday. He just flat out didn't show up on saturday either. (keep in mind that it was getting really hot and we had to stay at our crazy hot house for when he got there so every day he missed, was a day we sat at home.) Sunday rolled around and we were talking about it and saying screw that guy, we're going to hire someone else on monday. guess what. he shows up on our doorstep on sunday with no warning whatsoever. He comes in, figures out that we need a new fan motor, makes a crazy solid appointment to come at 8 the next morning and bring the part, and never showed up or answered any phone calls. 

(see a horrible trend?) 

our manager came out with the part to do it himself on tuesday. there are 2 kinds of motors and the one with welded legs are super rare these days so he comes out with the more common motor, guess what, we have the rare one. They get the part yesterday, put it in, everything blows it's all hunky dory, then we realize, it's blowing WARM air. 

so the guys came to day to charge it and it's working... night mare

whew... sorry that was a crazy long story. but that was our last 3 weeks. 

Leah and Eden (my boss at jitters and one of our friends) threw me a shower for friends last saturday and it was so much fun! I tried to get everyone's address but if you didn't get one it's because you never answered back :) I loved seeing everyone and everybody clicked really well so i was super grateful for having such awesome friends!!!!!! thanks again to everyone who came out!!

I'm now weighing in at 134 lbs and the doctor says my uterus is exactly measuring where it should be so that's pretty cool. 

Now our little munchkin is not little whatsoever anymore, he's crazy huge! 

weighing in somewhere probably around 4 lbs these days and right around 17 inches there is rarely a movement I don't feel (unless i'm asleep... I sleep through his thrashing, and poor drew, if i'm cuddling him porter wakes him up every time) Baby center says he's weighing the same as if you were to pick up a laarge jicama (mmmmm those are sooo good) 

so his toenails and fingernails are fully grown and actually probably pretty long, His hair (if he's lucky enough to have any) is all grown in. (here is something AWESOME) sometime between now and the next few weeks he gets to start dreaming in his sleep... I really wonder what he dreams about, heaven probably :) he's also starting to have quiet awake periods where he can actually just chill and listen to what is going on around him. 

We also finished the nursery so I'll be doing another post (hopefully this week maybe just tack it on next weeks) with lots of pictures of everything, and we moved the furniture around so it's even a bit different than the last time you saw it!
