14 weeks

SECOND TRIMESTER!!

freak yes i'm done with that whole boring first part where yes, millions of things are growing for the baby but i felt like a pile of crud and i felt nothing at all. now oh my heck i FEEL super pregnant and i know there's only more to come. Holy cow seriously though I don't really feel nautious at all anymore (thank heavens because i had a REALLY bad sick day last week) and now i'm starting to get the pains of everything in the innards stretching out because oh my heck is everything growing fast now! I mean last week if you pushed real hard into my stomach you could feel this tiny little baseball sized bump and now it's basically pushing out in a bigger ball shaped feeling and you can feel it from just touching the skin on my lower stomach. Honestly the thing im just waiting for is "quickening" which is when you first feel the little cutie pie moving around in there! it should be in like 2 weeks or so because they say underweight preggers feel it super soon so man i'll be crossing my fingers. I think i feel it sometimes but i think it may just be gas so i keep my mouth shut until i'm sure :) plus... like i said almost no one feels it this early. boo.

Drew is getting so cute and so excited although more than half the time he wants the baby to come out at about 2 years old where they're talking and learning super fast and they can play with him but i'm positive once he sees that helpless little body with the cute frog legs he'll just melt (the same way he whines at the thought of it being a girl but if it is then he'll be exited just the same.)

so we have our second apointement on Friday and i'm super excited because that's when we make the appointment to find out if it's a boy or a girl! AAAAHHH! So on our next update you will know the DATE that you can find out what it is :) i'm so so excited because then i can actually look at names. since we have zero names for boys i'm not really going to sweat it unless it's a boy. I used to like hunter but i'm super leaning away from it lately... it's like whenever i really think of a name it doesn't seem like something i want to give to an actual person! it's so scary!

on weight i'm not sweating anything anymore because as long as the baby is healthy then i'm happy :) But i do want to just keep track of it just for the heck of it. i'm  a pretty consistant 106 this week ha ha and it makes no sense because my pants don't fit anymore but eh, whatever :)

oh baby oh baby they're 1.5 oz and 3.5 inches same size as a lemon!\

So this week the baby starts doing cute facial experessions like squinting, frowning, grimace, and baby can suck his or her thumb!! (so cute). there is more of a neck now so the tiny little chin is off the chest now. Those tiny arms and legs are getting longer and more proportional and although the arms are growing faster than the legs right now i'm sure they'll catch up eventually. I don't know if you guys know but babies in utero are covered by tiny fine hair up until a little while before they are born to protect the fragile skin it's called "languo" and that's all starting to grow. What else is growing is tensy tiny eyelashes and eyebrows and the hair on top of that teeny head is growing longer. ahem... reproductive organs are starting to develop and if it's a girl there are already those billions of eggs formed in the ovaries for when she's ready to have babies of her own but i'm not quite ready to think about that yet.
