Photography Adventures

So i totally forgot to tell you what happened on saturday! My wondeful old roomate is sometimes a model for one of her current roomates who is a photographer. I was absolutely bored out of my mind on saturday since drew was working all day long and chelsea and kristi (the photographer and cute girl) let me tag along.

First we went and had chelsea's makeup done at the mall which was mondo ammounts of fun. a lady did it and i think she's russian.. but anywho she was super uptight and stressed at first so we really didn't like her much right off the bat but my heck as time passed she loosened up a bit and was super hillarious! Turns out she was just nervous that she wouldn't be able to make it look as good as we needed! 

(it was supposed to be peacock colors that would compliment feather earings but not take away from the pretty of the actual earings)

Next we headed to the studio and I just basically became Kristi's assistant which i really really liked. Kristi told me where to move the lights so she could get the lighting and i kind of helped coach chelsea on how wide to have her eyes and where to look so her pretty eyes wouldn't be too far in the corner. it really was super fun because i've always loved photography and while i never learned about the lighting or took any classes to get it up to any crazy cool levels this was something i could do :)

It was basically a fashion piece so the focus of the pictures were mainly either earings or shoes.

chelsea had this awesome dress she bought from ross that was soooo short but it worked perfectly for just the photoshoot.

I have to share though. she posed soooo seductively in that dress and these fantastic heels that oh my it made the whole room about 30 degrees hotter ;)

and to be totally one hundred percent off subject... I love my niece. she's flipping adorable and i haven't put any pictures of her up recently! She's basically walking now which is awesome and she flipping looks like drew now that her face has chunked up a little! I mean really look at her eyes! they're drew's!!

(he would like me to add in that he had no part in her creation so it's silly for me to think she looks like him)
