15 weeks

oh my flip i love this. I love that i offically mark every time the week changes because it really seems like it's been 2 days! Baby is getting so big and i was soooo crossing my fingers that i'd be able to start saying him or her sooner than later but nope... they scheduled  my ultrasound for 20 weeks and 1 day. hmph. how rude. i was super disapointed but at the same time i'm super giddy to have an actual day set to the aspect!

April 7th!

Another HUGE thing we finally did was go down to the social security office and offically change my name with them. I"ve had it changed since a week after we got hitched to whiteley on my driver's license but i haven't been able to actually change it with social security until today. so it's super offical :)

I feel pretty darn good these days (besides the MASSIVE cold that has been going around in cache valley that i caught... darn it) I am pretty sure sickness is all gone mostly all i have now are 3 symptoms.. wait.. 4.

I have heartburn like a mother... pun intented... but my wonderful friend janelle gave me some wonderful pills that i can take for that that last 24 hours a piece. I get dizzy if i stand too long but that's super normal. I get headaches (partly from the pressure with my sinus') but that sadly is also super common. lastly.. I have been having HORRIBLE lower back pain. now when i brought this up to the doctor she asked some questions about what kind because it's unusual to feel it so bad this early i guess. Turns out I probably have a (this is such a weird word to say/type) uterus that is tilted backwards and it's probably growing into my pelvis. yup. think about it. something growing into your pelvic bone and then expanding. it makes for great pain. so she just said to keep an eye on the pain and if it gets worse or doesn't improve she'll have to pop it out of there for me.

drew and i really have been boring again. although it's cute that as my tummy gets bigger (it's really not that big but when i lay on my back that giant hard ...uterus.... does stick out and man is it getting big in there) drew gets way more excited. he's just so cute when he talks about the baby. and man we're in deep do do if it's a boy because there is no way on earth we're ever going to settle on a boy's name.... i ended up not wanting the one we had and now .... we're hopeless.

Baby time.

first off i would like to say that the doctor said according to an "old wives tale" the heartbeat rate leans more towards a girl... but who really trusts those things anyways.

We're at the size of an apple! I told you it's/he's/she's getting bigger!! It's so crazy! baby's about 4 inches from head to bum and weighs about 2.5 ounces. Amniotic fluid is being sucked in through that tiny little nose and mouth to help the lungs start developing to get ready to breathe in that air :) The legs are now longer than those arms and there is not one joint that can't be moved. I know i mentioned a while back that the eyes were fully formed but fused shut for a while, well now even though they are still shut, baby will actually react to light (kinda like how if you close your eyes you can still see bright lights shining through your eyelids) and actually move away from it. Tastebuds are forming on that cute little tounge. and last something that i want to share....

I don't know for sure. but I think i felt the baby move yesterday... ugh. i hate that it happened this early because no one believes me.. but i'm serious! I was laying down on my back and everything was super quiet. drew was asleep and like i said when i'm on my back the baby sticks out a ton more than if i'm sitting standing anything else. so i had my hand on that bump and i was just laying there thinking and then i had this weird sensation like something twisting or twirling right there. I waited a while to see if it was gas or something but i didn't have gas and the feeling never moved anywhere else. so i swear that it was the baby... so cute. who really knows but i'm sticking to my story. :)
