Halfway freaking done!!! Flip yes! Drew and I find out the gender tomorrow and we could not be more excited! ..well we should tone it down because we're not telling for a few days sooo... we shouldn't get over excited or we'll end up spilling to someone other than our parents first. My grandma's been on me to just call her tomorrow and tell her ha ha i love her. It's been a fun week that's for sure! I mean nothing super incredible but it's been interesting for me.
SO you can seeeeee the baby bouncing around inside of my tummy now which is so cool and so funny and sooo creepy all at the same time. every time you see it i hear the sound effect of dory bouncing on the jellyfish on finding nemo ha ha ha crazy? maybe.
Another fun little tidbit of a fact is I now officially have my temple recommend in my hands with both signatures on it! I'll be going through in 2 weeks.which is so exciting for me!
Drew is so excited for tomorrow it's super fun to watch him get so giddy over it!
mm. we get to give the baby a name!!! i always thought people who named their baby before they were born were crazy. I guess i just had to be preggers to get it. I mean if i say the wrong name even if i LIKE the name i feel like the baby is telling me "nope keep trying because that's not my name at all". I used to have Hunter picked out for a boy but then once i got pregnant i just knew somehow that it was wrong even though i still wanted it to be right. weird.
well I'm at a 111 most of the time now which is right on schedule and i love knowing that i'm gaining weight the way i should. I put a pic of my tummy on facebook and it's funny to hear people say how tiny i am when i feel huge! i mean it's like there are 2 footballs in my stomach side by side and it makes it hard to do anything normally and here people are telling me how small i am ha ha. i guess it's all in the eye of the people who see me change and see the difference in the way that i move but i'm sure i'll get plenty bigger by the end.
So the baby is as LONG as a banana! i mean it's obviously wider than it but it's as long as a banana :) yey!
also i learned something interesting! until 20 weeks we know the baby is measured from the top of the head to the bum. well from now on it's measured from head to toe! from now on when i say how long it's really how long :)
so 10 inches and 10 1/2 oz
so i'm told that the baby's tastebuds are all the way developed and that the foods that i eat are put into the amniotic fluid. since babies react better to food that they had when they were in the tummy, i should basically eat things i want the baby to eat! good thing i've been eating lots and lots of fruits and veggies right? and since it's summer i'm going to be able to have lots of berries too!
most of the stuff going on this week is just adding to the growth that's already started to happen but i'll go over it just for you :) the skin is growing more and more layers, the nails are growing longer, the hair is growing longer, and every day the heart gets stronger and the lungs develop faster and faster to try and get ready for the baby to breathe on it's own when the time comes!
so banana rama time :)
also i was looking ahead... some comparisons get lame because they aren't as big as baby, from now on they're as long or as heavy as the baby is. but oh well. just to forewarn you :)
