Ready for something I haven't done yet??
tell you about books.
After watching the percy jackson movie
drew decided he wanted to read the books.
so he whipped out his library card and got the book on ipod.
He has a pretty physical yet lonely job.
so he listens to books because he doesn't have time to sit down and read them.
I was busy cruising though the harry potters for the millionth time.
then they didn't have the last book on ipod so we went out and bought the first one and the last one
one for me one for him.
I zooooomed though the series and actually finished before him.
what's cool is rick riordin (or whatshisname)
ended the percy jackson series but kept the story going in a new series
The heroes of Olympus
which is awesome it's like stopping harry potter and then keeping the story going through someone elses experiences and point of view and a whole different (more grown up like) writing style
there is only one book out of the new series
THE LOST HERO
and it rocked my socks off.
until the last line I didn't fully grasp a part of it
and then it hits you BAM
(so don't read the last line first you crazies)
the next one comes out in the fall.
I'm buying it the second it comes out
eeee! It's the harry potter joy all over again
soo. I've read 8 books in the last week and a half.
what should I read next? any books you love?
give me lots of suggestions because I'm on a reading roll and I've read a lot of books.
Fablehaven series!!! Also books by Gail Carson Levine-Ella Enchanted is my all time favorite book!
