HOOOOLY cow what a holiday season!

I had a BLAST!  Drew and I decided that we would forgo the presents to family and just tell them we love them and spend time with them without the rush of hurry hurry.... yes we're poor. also we just spent our whole budget on porter because it's his first Christmas that he actually knows that he's getting fun things!
It was a blast.
First we drove down to salt lake on Christmas eve.
We stopped at the airport fire station on our way down and saw my papa! (my daddy's a Firefighter. Did you know that?? It's kinda awesome. It's why we're I'm Obsessed with giving porter firefighter stuff. oh that and my Grandpa and my uncle on my mom's side are/were also firefighters) Because the station is actually part of the barrier that keeps you from getting to the airport runway (you have to use a key card to get in and you can just walk straight up out the back door to the runway and get run over by a plane) there's an observatory that's walls are all thick glass. it's gorgeous. we went in there and hung out for a while in part with my papa being gone all saving people's lives and stuff. we opened presents and porter got his first set of legos! -the giant kind- It was nice not to be in a hurry so we could just wait for my dad to get back and hang out some more.
After that we drove to my Grandma's house and did some christmas there and let porter baby take a nap since he was EXHAUSTED and she's the one with the bed :).
THEN we went to my mama's house and (of course) did a little christmas there. Drew got a new pillow (because he somehow steals mine out from under my head every night.. he doesn't like his) I got a giftcard to old navy with which I bought oh my hecka.. ok I just have to show you.

come one adorable right? I got a shirt and a dress and 2 pairs of flip flops (they're 1.50 Here for a little while longer so why NOT get 2 right?)
Porter got this amazing chair.-




Then we went to my family Christmas Eve Party. It's all my decendants from my Great Great Grandparents. We Eat, we do a program, we do the hokey pokey (yes, it is really what it's all about) and then we hit a pinata from the youngest member of the family (from a few weeks old sometimes) to the oldest. This year it didn't make it to the teenagers but Porter got to hit it. Here's both videos :)

Also- christmas came with me having crazy horrid back spasms again (so today I'm going to a chiropractor) and we spent the morning home and the rest of the day with the Whiteley Family  Playing rock band :) yey for us!
