A Great Big World

mmmm. I had the BEST weekend. maybe ever.

So see, years ago my roomate Jelli and I were watching the hills -in different rooms mind you- and we both heard this awesome song and we both separately were searching for hours to find out who had sung the song. Turns out it was this guy named Ian Axel. We were hooked from then on.

Then as time went on he came out with new music that also got bigger (there's one that's the theme song to mtv's show "I used to be Fat".

Porter became a fan.
 And then ian's writing partner became his singing partner and so the name transformed into  a band called A Great Big World.

they released a song that porter and I LOVE.



They then went on a tour. and as luck would have it he did a HOUSE concert in Salt lake.
BEST THING I'VE EVER DONE.

It was amazing. Greg Holden performed as well, and he's absolutely going to be joining my music library. then came Ian and Chad.
they were so much fun!

I got to talk to them afterwards and they were so sweet and genuine. I wish I had more friends that were such awesome people! I felt so fortunate to have met them :) I hope they come back and that you guys fall in love with their music as much as I love it!

The new ep came out yesterday by the way, it's 5 dollars on itunes and even i could afford that! get it!
